Barrow Clump - Recording Tree Carvings as part of Operation Nightingale

Various carvings were found at Barrow Clump include pictures, names and dates associated with the military and probably made by soldiers whilst on exercise. The earliest date to 1916/17 and were carved by New Zealand soldiers, who were probably based near the Kiwi at Bulford Camp.
